Fishing Submerged Brush For Walleye

July 26, 2018

Submerged brush...

That's Bass fishing.  Aren't we talking about Walleye?  Fishing thick cover for Walleye is often over looked by many anglers.  Fishing cover is tough and it can be a huge pain.  Cover holds monster Walleyes and they will bite all day from their hiding spot.  Cover is perfect to ambush bait fish and small game fish.  It provides cover and concealment and there is usually less fishing pressure.  If you're not Bass fishing for Walleye, you are missing out.

Regional Colors For Walleye

January 28, 2018

This is a can't miss podcast where we discuss color selection for Walleyes!  We debate the importance of color and if color choice is dictated by regions.  Midwest Walleyes have different preferences than western Walleyes.  Midwest water is different than western water and is that a difference maker?  Is the mighty Mississippi River the boundry between using gold or silver and do our Canadian fishing friends to the north have different go to colors?  A very interesting conversation and a must listen before this years tournament circut or before you start restocking for open water.

Keeping Lead Core Trolling SIMPLE

September 14, 2017

It's fall and fish are suspended over open water chasing huge pods of baitfish.  There is a distinct area of the water column that is holding fish and you need to get a #5 flicker shad down to 20ft to put your crank bait just above those fish.  LEAD CORE!  In today's podcast we make the idea of fishing lead core easy and managable.  If you have never fished leadcore, this is for you.  If you fish leadcore, lets compare tactics!  Let us help you take your trolling skills to your next level.
