I had a rough year.  My boat sprung a leak and my motor won't run right.  It's ice fishing season now and I could really use a Vexlar and a new ice house.  While you are at it...here is my list...

It is that time of year where you put away your boat and start to think about next year.  As we start to replace broken and worn out equipment with new and start to restock our boxes with our favorite baits, we can't help but to think back to the 2018 season and cringe at how those baits got lost!  It is time for more funny stories and we are taking aim at each other and 2018.  Lots of laughs in this weeks podcast!

That's Bass fishing.  Aren't we talking about Walleye?  Fishing thick cover for Walleye is often over looked by many anglers.  Fishing cover is tough and it can be a huge pain.  Cover holds monster Walleyes and they will bite all day from their hiding spot.  Cover is perfect to ambush bait fish and small game fish.  It provides cover and concealment and there is usually less fishing pressure.  If you're not Bass fishing for Walleye, you are missing out.  

Confidence

Confidence is not seen in the fishing world, but it can make all the difference.  Confidence comes in many different shapes and colors and it can cost a little or a lot.  Confidence can win tournaments or produce 100 fish days.  In this weeks podcast we discuss the importance of confidence and how we work hard to develope confidence to help make us successful.  We hope you enjoy this weeks podcast...CONFIDENCE!

Why Fish Tournaments

Competition!  That feeling of purpose and the need to sharpen your skills and improve your focus.  Thats why we fish tournaments.  Why do you?  Why should you fish tournaments?  For some it's hanging with the guys and talking strategy.  For others it's a way of making a living.  Maybe you enjoy the tension before the takeoff or walking up to collect a check?  Whatever motivates you, there is no better feeling then tournament fishing.   

Leadcore Basin Fish

It's early spring and the Walleye are roaming the open basin of your local lake/reservoir.  You see marks on your graph and the fish are close to the bottom or belly to the bottom.  Using in-line weights or other snap weights is too aggressive for early spring and you need a weight system to deliver your crank bait to the bottom.  Leadcore is a versitile easy way to troll for those early spring Walleye.  Once you start to master using leadcore, you can use leadcore to deliver crawler harnesses over submerged trees and brush or use leadcore to follow the rolling contours of a shore line.  This weeks podcast covers getting you started using leadcore and some of the applications for trolling leadcore.
